there are also lots of demo/full versions available on https://www.download.com theres a few to chose from but seem pretty straight forward to use.
Theres also a product available on QVC i've seen for recovering pic/data etc I think its called "dont panic" around £20, u could also use the 30 day money back guarentee with this if it doesnt do what you want.

say you did a restore on 01 Jan, go back into system restore and restore from 31 Dec, and hopefully your files will be there. Hope that helps0

I would like to thank one and all for trying to help me I have tried various sites and downloaded various "things" but am no closer to finding what I have lost,I suppose I could go to an expert but I cant afford to pay a lot of money.
What happened to me was a total wipe-out it went back to the time when I bought the computer and had it "set up" from scratch.A wise man changes his mind, a fool never will.
