Any ideas on how to disassemble my Stanley Oisin to remove the grate as I'd like to try using it as just a woodburner? Never done this before.

theres a stanley oisin manual online thats very detailed but you prob got this with your stove?
  • Ye, was reading it last night, but glazed over. Is there not an easier way?

    Yes

Dont empty the ash pan and allow the ashes to cover the grate

Thats only if burning wood - doing it with coals/smokeless etc will burn through your grate in no time
