I never stated how many people were employed by Oakwood.

Now I challenge you to admit that your statement that Tesco pays more than the NMW is not always true.
Tesco or Oakwood, one way or another the money still comes from the tesco bank account and Oakwood is entirely owned and run by tesco.

But really you are talking complete boll*cks.

"Oakwood Distribution was set up in September 2008 following a buyout of
Handleman Uk by Tesco Holdings plc"

Tesco just bought out a completely separate company as it is more cost
effective for them, the fact they now own this distribution arm doesnt
mean the employees are employed by 'Tesco' :rotfl:

They are run as a completely separate company, so no these vacancies
cant be use in favor of your argument, Tesco is not the employee in these
cases, even if Tesco Plc does contribute a large percentage of the funds
for the running of the company, with an equally large proportion coming
    from various other sources...

Christ, the government has a large stake in RBS, does this mean the government
has employed all of the RBS staff? it really doesnt work like that..

If you are over-charged it's worth emailing the address on the receipt. I made a very rare shopping trip to tesco last month, ended up buying some 3 for 2 promotion. Didn't check till I got home and had been charged for the full price - ended up with a £5 voucher card for my trouble. (which was a bit more than double the difference)
