Been to "not my area"tesco again - notting hill metro. Truly to its name, nothing there at all. However, when i was searching for 1 p items, my 4 year old shouts - mum look spicy nuts!!! And then, because he has been reading since he was 3, he goes /screaming his lungs out - mum dont worry, these are salty nuts, not the penny ones/. I honestly think, new mse-er,is lined up.0

Against 1p items? I doubt it because when sis got her Lucozade Shots I got an SA that I'm friendly with to check on her computer (those ones hidden at the ends of the aisles for stock checking/SEL printing) the price and they came up at £1.49 but they went through the till at a penny.0 -

And his local mates from school, the ones who hang around your house looking for food and booze they'll still be around as they all get together to catch up from their various unis/colleges.
My DS1 has just returned from uni (he's in 2nd year) and tbh it's just like he never left! DSes1 and 2 still bicker like brothers and dare each other to do silly things etc so don't worry too much Nikkilala, you'll have your boy home for Christmas next year too.
Now that's made me feel better but the last bit made me choked up again,I think I'm having a midlife crisis:oHappyChappy84 wrote: »New member for the club for several reasons...
1) Can't go in to detail
2) He's a fellow scot
3) He has got some cheap items.
4) It's Christmas.

Sounds like favouritism to me, something to do wth the fellow scot bit, North South divide creeping in here;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Back from shopping, nipped into T's and got all the stuff to do my cake tonight. I had to buy the tin because I'm not a great cake maker more cupcakes or sponges and none of mine were deep enough. Then I wanted something pretty to put on top so went to hobbycraft, then bought a board, I don't think my cakes going to be very MSE by the time I've finished. Had to stop myself buying the glittery sparkly stuff that you can put on cakes because that would have been another £2.99. This cake better be worth it!:rotfl::rotfl: But I am going to add a sprig of holly from the garden. I might show you a piccie when it's finished but if I don't then please don't ask about it because it means it was a disaster:rotfl::rotfl:
When I was in T's I saw Karlies Chocolate buttons, in fact theirs lots on strips in the Vacuum building for any of my homies;) and guess what? I only bought one!! I just can't stomache any more choccie, I've a garage full of it. Six months ago I would never have believed I was saying that:eek:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Have you tried them yet? What did you think? Opinions on these seem to vary greatly. I thought they were ok, but I was absolutely starving when I ate them so maybe my tastebuds were a bit biased that day!Never pay more than you have too0 -
motherbear wrote: »HC have you tried the OEP at your local recently?
I tried it a couple of days ago with 3 jars of salsa but only the '3 for 2' discount came off.:(0 -

Ahh sorry, you're probably right, they took the 1p website info once before. However I think clipstrips should be safe, they can't be used as substitutes and go out of date fairly soon in most cases, but i won't update! Sorry0 -
sandersjake16 wrote: »haha I've heard, but have to be up pre-4am on saturdays so they'd help alot
It says one per day on the bottle but it wasn't enough for me. 3 would be better.:rotfl:0 -
