No thank you. I've just had ready brek for breakfast. Don't like spam this early in the day.

Edit: phew, it's been removed. Thanks redfox :)

Just to let you know, I went to b&q this morning looking for the 1p Christmas trees and they didn't have any , there were lots of real trees there and potted small real trees but they still scan at the 75 percent off.

    Oh well worth a try

    Good morning everyone :)

Up and out today. Bit grumpy cos OH still hasnt gone in the loft for the decorations and wrapping paper so IM gonna have to buy wrapping paper again today (my only chance of wrapping is today). If I wasnt so nervous about spiders I would do it myself, but Im such a wuss!

Thank you 3dogs for the kind words. It was quite upsetting yesterday as M-I-Law had been the full ticket but yesterday was very confused, kept stopping halfway through sentances and forgetting what she was saying and acting strangely. They are putting it down to the renal or liver failure at the moment (but I think thats only cos they havent got a clue why) She was a very large lady but has lost around 25 kilos (4 stone?) in a month since going in - she hasnt been eating! Once I speak to the Dr today hopefully I might have a few answers, then will have to let the family know whats going on.

Hope you all have a good day! xx

Isn't it about time the Doormans pistachios went down to 1p?

They are out of date anyway, and they have been 40pish for ages!
Before xmas would be nice. ;)

I piked up a few more bags of pistachios the other day and they scanned at £1:eek:

Morning all! Stressed to the max right now with friend trouble!

But on a happier note, you know you've been on this forum too long when you have a dream about going into a gift shop and finding 1p choc on clipstrips! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Morning all,

I've completely failed to keep up over the last couple of days, what with it being the season of panic and despair...sorry, sorry I meant Joy! Is there anything in particular I missed out on?

I still haven't got the decs up. I still haven't finished my shopping. And, being as I was too tight to pay for express delivery on anything, I still haven't had most of my on line shopping delivered...

Is it too early in the day for this kind of whining?

Gah! I think I need to get out to tesco and bag me some 1p nuts or something to cheer myself up. I'm going to go stand in the virtual kitchen now, and keep my grumpiness to myself.

You also know you've been on this forum too long, when you suddenly realise the clip strips you are eyeing up, are actually in the Co-op! :rotfl:
