I've got 2 Morrisons near me and I do really well there with the whoopsies. They always reduce the bread and cakes right down to 9p. Also the bakery pies and pasties. Cream cakes and puddings are really cheap too.
I don't know that I've ever found joints that cheap there though....usually about 80% off.
Sainsbury's are good too. I didn't manage to get one when I went there on Thursday night, but the SA told me that Fresh Turkey crowns had been going through at really marked down prices the night before.
Lidls actually give fresh flowers and bread away late on Sunday afternoons

Oh your Mr M's sounds very good Purdita. Mine is good with some things like bread and cakes always go down to either 19p or 9p but there's often not much there at all. The cheapest I've bought a Rotisserie chicken before has been 99p and I thought that was fantastic. As for meat, fruit/veg and other fresh food, they never really reduce it more than 50% so I was gobsmacked by all the 9p stickers!!

I don't have a Sainsbury's that close to me but my nearest, when I've popped in on the off chance, has been poor for whoopsies.

I find Asda fantastic for Whoopsies though

Having said all this I think that Whoopsies are so store specific and there are so many variables even down to the duty manager responsible that day as to how far the reductions go. I haven't found a store yet that has a uniform policy for Whoopsies regarding the times and amount of discount. Most of the time with me I've just found it to be down to a bit of guesswork, dedication and luck!:D

I did it all outside shoved the bars/drip tray into the bag and left it over night turning occasionally, the oven itself is ok its just the bars/drip tray that were speckled dark

I met another "friend of Martin's" in P33l Ctr on Friday - it was like something out of a spy movie.... eyeing up each others trolleys before finally speaking! And the realising that we had spoken before when looking for cadbury stocking selection boxes a few weeks ago! :rotfl:
