Loads of catching up to do. I 'hinted' that I'd like the Lorraine Pascale cook book for Christmas. I saw that they had it in T's at C45tle L4ne this afternoon at a very respecatable sel price of £7. Told OH to tell my son then went shopping. Later, OH told me that the book went thro' at £10 . DS told OH and then said that he'd go to CS. OH went with him incase DS couldn't hear what was said. (He'd forgotten his hearing aid). He explained that the sel was £7 and that he'd been charged £10. CS checked the shelf and then gave him dtd. How chuffed was he! I am so proud of him for going to CS, as normally he wouldn't put himself in a position where he couldn't hear properly what was being said to him. :j
It may be worth (in a store with scanners) scanning some of the other hardback books with a sel of £7 just incase..;)0 -
