Lol, last week it was my works do and I missed the final of I'm a celeb jungle and Xfactor, it wasn't even a fun night out!:mad:

I had a fab afternoon, did a detour on my way home from work via 2 x Mr T's

Having happily found some 1p bargains I went upto the self-service till, and was not happy to see a trout like SA staring at the screen which shows exactly which each SS is ringing up. I was certain I was going to be pounced on, especially when the till that came free was right next to her.

As I rang up my first 1p she muttered half to herself ''I'll be glad when it's 5 o'clock'' so I went for the bold approach and started chatting to her as I rang up my 20 x 1p items ....anyway we chatted away for 3-4 mins and it turned out she was really nice and also knackered from work like me! Nothing was said about my 1p items

Just looking at my list to see what I'm putting in my children's stockings this year, and I couldn't help remembering how my mum used to say that 'in her day' they were happy to have an orange and some nuts in their stocking.
Well, things don't change that much - the MSE Christmas stocking will contain Terry's Chocolate Orange and Dorman Nuts!:rotfl:

Going out for a Christmas meal with some friends tonight. Feel really bad for kind of wishing I was going to be snuggled up on the sofa with my children, stuffing our faces with choccy and snacks and watching the X Factor final.:o Do they announce the winner tonight, or is it a Sunday night thing?

This was my haul, from 2 different stores. There was more of everything on the shelf, i didn't clear them out. Not much of it is actually for me, but it will be fun giving it people. Thanks to everyone for their help.
