Im not that bothered about the tree so will prob wait as late as poss, we have all the outside lights up and some in door stuff. How does your DS like having his birthday so near xmas? My mums birthday is xmas day, mines new years day and its not fun!! (cant believe im going to be 29 in two weeks :eek:)

Im so excited, I have just finished icing and decorating my TESCO christmas cake, shall I post a picture.

It took me hours to cook, 3 weeks feeding it, 3 days to marzipna 3 days to ice, then another 4 days to do all the decorations. Tok so long as I had to leave plenty of time for each bit to dry out.

We did his birthday party last week (medieval archery party). We don't do anything for christmas until we have celebrated his birthday and he has had a big party every year bar one (we went to visit family in the US and he got to play in 15 foot of snow). We did a Ski party for him last year and got snowed in at the ski centre but it was such a novelty that everyone turned up (free ski lesson which would have cost a fortune otherwise). I have a brother with a birthday in December so I learned from him that December birthdays are no fun so we make sure my DS gets to celebrate his birthday
