    As DSs birthday is 17th Dec. we don't normally put the decs. up until Christmas Eve. and we don't take them down until the 6th Jan. I was always told that this was the 12 days of Christmas. Wait until Christmas Eve. and you will get the tree for pennies and will be keeping to the real Christmas tradition.
