Holy smokes! That was some shop today :D

    6 x Tacos
    1 x Guacamole
    2 x Salsa
    3 x stir-in sauces
    3 x Nanchips
    9 x Tortillas
2 x Alcopops (it was all I could think of to make the Mexican party look believable and bring the total above zero)

    Total £43.71
    Spirits - 0.50
    Cadbury - 28.11
    OEP - 12.53

    To pay: £2.57

To top it a £5.xx profit for an innocent DTD so the wee packet mixes I tested the deals on were free and so was the alcohol plus a few pennies towards petrol!

For NI folk (sorry not checked back) - @rds extr@ not working, smaller of the two b@ng0r stores working

Wow well done Caz :T I'm just trying to work out whether it would have made more sense for me to put mine through altogether. Just to help anyone going out now to try, can you give a breakdown of the individual prices of each item please? Thank you :T

My DH needed our car and came home for lunch early. He told me he'll bring me out later, but then I risk the children falling asleep on route, but I think its worth it. My stores are normal superstores, are these working/not working.

I love love love spicy food ! Have the chicken and salad ready for my enchildas i just need the packs now
What kind of cheese should I buy if I wanted to make nachos to thank my DH for taking me later?

Dinner kits are going though at 3 - £1.20,then buy 3 tortillas(£1.79 each) they go though at 3- £1.20 then you get the cheapest item free -£1.79 so total to pay = 61p!!

  • Does FIL genuinely need his DLA car or is he one of the 'bad back' brigade?

To be honest - he does need it, he cant walk without sticks and had one of those mobility scooters to get around - hence the reason for the big disability car - complete with hoist etc to lift the scooter into the car..

BUT he very rarely leaves his bed.....he can walk around the house as its fully modified.. but still refuses to, makes his wife do everything..... then complains that he cant do anything...

His wife has one room downstairs, with a little portable TV and electric heater in ( as he refuses to let her put the heating on as he is 'warm' under the bedcovers) - he lays in bed, in the room right next door, all day, been waited on hand and foot, with a 52" flatscreen tv, Touchscreen Monitor PC, posh coffee machine.. plus LOTS of other mod cons... and just lays there and does nothing... then moans that he cant afford to get his car fixed (this is all whilst looking up on the internet on purchaing a 3DTV??)

he IS poorly, and IS disabled, but he definatley plays up on it to get what he wants....

  • anyone tried any stores in surrey for the old el paso glitch?

*as want to know if I did it wrong, but then 4 trips to tesco in one day is too much I think.

Me and it didn't work for me either!
  • Right!!!! hurray!!!
JUST got the car back now.... off to do the school run. Pop to Ts and then come back to join the Strip Club...

Will get something to try and put a smile back on my face... plus make you all giggle tonight!! xx

Ooh thanks. I might have a look on the way home from work

They have loads in, just be sure to get the bags of 40 as the bags of 42 cost £3! Cheers for the heads up on the OEP, only wanted the salsa but got 6 jars for -64p.

Also in St@ff0rd Tesco today I saw staff grabbing bags of birds eye king prawns. No price on them but are scanning at 62p, no longer available online so assume they are no longer selling them:

Why are people thanking this muppet i know we are an open thread in here but a lot of the time it is discussion, and i'm sure a lot of people in this thread would like to keep it that way. By putting comments on hukd it is giving them an invite to troll through the whole thread and start to come on here and annoy people. As for the post itself i reckon it is you using a new newuser name and then come in this thread with a few comments to stay under the radar.
If you are in anyway offended by my comment here "so what" this is the internet and it is my opinion :p

Aww, were you not hugged enough as a child? If you want a private chat then have one, but you aren't. As I said earlier deals often cross over between sites, in both directions. You were the one suggesting sabotaging the voting to stop others seeing it, I merely pointed out I thought that made you a tool. If that is a problem to you then it's up to you to deal with it, I couldn't give a monkeys :D
