on a side note, well done to those of you who ahve got the Melitta cleaning/ de-calc tablets for 1p. I've managed to get a few as i actually have an espresso machine. These tablets are really expensive (about £8-£10 for 10) and my machine demands to be cleaned every few weeks. If youve got them and not planning on using them, I would consider selling them on eBay, you never know, it might be me buying them!0

sunshinestar101 wrote: »EXACTLY!!!!! - oh dont get me started on the MIL....... she needed it to get to work (supposidly) ...she has had it for the past 2 days..... i even offered to pay for a taxi for her to get to and from work so we could have it 'just in case'... her car is in the garage with the turbo needing fixing or something....
she also has another car sat on the drive that works fine..... but its a disability car that can only be used when FIL is in the car too - and hes a lazy bas**rd and refuses to sit in the car whilst MIL uses it...... i knw that sounds harsh - but its true.. lol.
its hard thought because they actually gave the car to us in the first place when ours broke down (last xmas actually!!! strange!!!)
They said that we could have it - (buy it off them) they were having a new one and wouldnt be using it... so it was ours..... they failed to mention that we would be reminded of it every single day since then.... and made to feel guilty/like we owe them constantly for it too......
phew - i am having a rant today!!!
edit - just re-read my post back - i do sound harsh - i am greateful for them helping us out, but they DO take the pee..... suppose you just have to be in the situation to understand. x
Does FIL genuinely need his DLA car or is he one of the 'bad back' brigade?0 -
OEP worked in my local, thanks OP.
Did notice that out of all the meal kits this oneSmokey BBQ Family Pack £3.70 also had a 3for2 yellow SEL, but was the only kit that did. Just wondering now if this one would work, would be a very large discount if 3 were purchased?
I think someone mentioned them and said you got an extra £1.98 off your shopping
...gonna go back and look for the post.0 -
Trotted off to non-extra large Tesco. Didn't work for me!
2 x refried beans
2 x taco shells
2 x salsa
No idea what I did wrong. Avoided the dinner kits, everything I chose was in the 3 for 2:mad:0
