I'm off to try in a normal Tesco in Bham
So for the dbl dic do I just buy any 6 or dearest 6

To make the most of the discount and to make it easier for me to work out how much they'd pay me to take them away, I bought 3 of each product in the same lot. If you start mixing up the products, it will only take the cheapest off on the 3 for 2 offer:)

Hold on isn't this the same as knowingly buying something to get DTD, which you have boasted about on here!???

no - i was maoning about people doing that too. :) i was saying that knowingliy getting DTD is the same as obtaining money by deception also... so anyone who was moaning about stealing, were infact also doing the same..

  • didnt realise i had 'Thanked' your post - Thanks for bringing that to my attention, i shall go back and remove my thanks now.....

and it is Illegal..... you are getting money from Tescos, by getting a DTD on an item, that you know has already had the discount taken off, just it says something else on the receipt..... obtaining money/goods by deception.... that IS ILLEGAL. -

If, and When you are caught out, banned from Tescos, AND get DTD stopped/halted/tightened up - just remember what i said....

its people like you that ruin it.. plain and simple..... Yes, take advantage of Glitches and offers and low prices wherever you can - thats the whole reason as to why we come to this thread - to save money, and have a banter and a laugh, and let of steam.... (so if you dont like my comments - you know where you can go tbh) but what you are suggesting is just going too far and stealing.

    its stealing, plain and simple.

Just seen your Username - Says it all really

No offence but find this post really over the top and quite rude.

IN MY OPINION we are all taking advantage of whatever we can get - knowingly picking up an item that YOU KNOW is going to scan at a higher price than the SEL is therefore wrong too? Who in their right mind would associate a cadburys discount with their purchase of OEP?!!?!!

I don't agree with what Ex-Tesco said to try so I won't be doing it and moved on to the next post - I suggest if anyone doesn't like it then do the same, move on .... to something that you feel is acceptable. :o
    loves a good glitch :j
  • IT WORKED FOR ME
(and cured my fuzzy head!! :D)
    :j:j:j:j:j:j
So excited right now, totally didn't expect it to work and it did! :rotfl::rotfl:
There wasn't much to choose from so just got 3 random things to try it, my face at the SS tills was :D:D:D:D:D
So went back and got 3 more!

Thank you so much to the OP, I havn't had a glitch for ages, so am well and truly delighted with this!

Your post is YOUR oppinion, my post is my opinion - if it comes across to you as 'over the top and rude' - then why not take your own advice and move on to the next post instead of commenting on it????

  • EXACTLY!!!!! - oh dont get me started on the MIL....... she needed it to get to work (supposidly) ...she has had it for the past 2 days..... i even offered to pay for a taxi for her to get to and from work so we could have it 'just in case'... her car is in the garage with the turbo needing fixing or something....

she also has another car sat on the drive that works fine..... but its a disability car that can only be used when FIL is in the car too - and hes a lazy bas**rd and refuses to sit in the car whilst MIL uses it...... i knw that sounds harsh - but its true.. lol.

its hard thought because they actually gave the car to us in the first place when ours broke down (last xmas actually!!! strange!!!)
They said that we could have it - (buy it off them) they were having a new one and wouldnt be using it... so it was ours..... they failed to mention that we would be reminded of it every single day since then.... and made to feel guilty/like we owe them constantly for it too......

phew - i am having a rant today!!!

edit - just re-read my post back - i do sound harsh - i am greateful for them helping us out, but they DO take the pee..... suppose you just have to be in the situation to understand. x

I don't think you do sound harsh actually, yes, giving you a car was a nice thing to do, but constantly reminding you of it, and then taking it back (despite the fact you're about to drop THEIR grandchild) thats not ok.
