When I saw georges_mummy's post earlier, I felt the time had come:p So super quick get dressed and out the door to my local T's

NORMAL store, south west England

BOTH discounts coming off :T:T:T:T:T

I bought everything in seperate lots except for the tortillas which I bought 6 packs together. Everything on this list worked for me : -

12 pack tortillas - £2.39
12 pack taco shells - £1.54
Refried beans - £1.36
Salsa (mild and hot) - £1.52
Guacamole dip - £1.46

I also bought some of the seasoning mixes. Because these are cheaper, it means you have to pay for them :rotfl:But seen as I have everything else for a Mexican feast I thought I'd buy some too. Worked out at 61p for 3 sachets....the 2 discounts do still come off.

I have been playing with some numbers.... if you buy 3 of anything from the old el paso range that is over £1 and on the 3 for 2, you will be paid to take them away...

eg 3 jalapenos @ £1.24 each = £3.72
less 3 for 2 discount -£1.24
less cadbury disc -£2.52
======
total to pay = -0.04


eg. 3 guacamole @ £1.46 = £4.38
less 3 for 2 disc -£1.46
less cadbury disc -£3.18
======
total to pay -£0.26


but if you buy stuff less than £1 the discount isn't as good

eg. 3 Taco spice mix @ £0.69 = £2.07
less 3 for 2 discount -£0.69
less cadbury disc -£0.87
======
total to pay £0.51

Working now bailey! Nearest 'normal' store is 16 miles away according to store locater! Damn it! DS has Christmas concert at 1.45! Have to take him in by 1! So maybe after as a reward for beind so good I can take him to Tesco for sweets! Obviously will have to go to the one far away! lol

The stuff with the yellow stickers is working, I bought two salsa, two spice mix, tortillas and taco shells. It was supposed to be £10.85 (I bought three other things) and £7.15 came off in total for the old el paso stuff. I think I paid 30p for it all.

Yes, I think the trick is NOT to buy the dinner kits as these are not on 2 for 3!:D
