i think people have been abusing jtd vouchers, the last 2x ive been asked to show receipt. Never before been asked. looks like some spoil it for the majority.:( now i got to make sure i keep all the receipts
I used two today at my local extra with receipts stapled to them. SA removed the receipts and handed them back to me. Being an honest sort(and wanting no abuse so it continues;) I asked why they hadn't marked them? "didn't know I had to" they replied, "doesn't surprise me in here though" they added:rotfl:

I was doing a bit of normal shopping today so had a good look around the store for the clipstrip items that everyone else is finding but nothing at all to be seen. As I had a bit of time on my hands I actually went up and down every aisle in the store!

Did make one small find that I don't think has been mentioned. A clipstrip of Energiser Hi Tech LED Keychains B/C 7045. SEL 24p with asterisk. Checked online and these are priced at between £3 -£5 at various stores such as Amazon. Unfortunately there was only one left :( Could be store specific but worth checking if anyone sees them:)

Just back from T's in Sw1nd0n, I dragged myself out of my sick-bed (well not really, I had to go to my counselling session!) anyway, I can report.......

Scanner still not fixed, still in some unknown foreign language but will seemingly round up/down to the nearest 10p i.e. 1p items come up 0.0Ko, 25p items 0.3Ko etc and I got....

• 1/2 price Jus-Rol (puff and shortcrust) 1kg packs now £1.40 but not applicable on the ready rolled stuff.
• Anti-calc @ 1p (Tea aisle), two there, took one
• Pongo smiley-face air fresheners @ 50p, in bedding aisle and in washing up liquid aisle, if you're after the aqua blue ones these are in bedding only.
• Mingles chocs @ £1.01, loads in choc aisle but none in seasonal
• Demister pad @ 25p, clip strip in fabric conditioner aisle
• Sarah Smith cleaning cloths @ 25p, clip strip in washing up liquid aisle.
HTH :)

Is it better to have the nuts or get a cyber medal for being trouted trying to join the strip club?;) I know which I'd go for

if you had taken in all of my posts you have replied to. i said on this occasion i had lost the bl@@dy thing

I did take the time... you also said, and I quote.

'by having to make sure i keep all them little bits of paper that might come back as a jtd'

So it is not just the one occasion that has caused you grief, it is the fact that you have to remember your receipts etc each time!!!

Just got my pricecheck back from yesterdays shop, unfortunately T did compare the CDM against Asda . McVities Temptation biscuits still comparing £8 against £3.

BTW my local Tesco's have always asked for the receipts on the JTD vouchers and go mad with a highlighter pen all over the receipt!!!!

Ok for all those arguing the big guy in the fare dodger situation did the right thing, you are basically saying two wrongs make a right, I don't see how that's the case.

Frequent, I think you're 100% right on your view on it.

Bensons mum - a girl spitting in your face is an act of aggression which escalates things, the boy in this didn't escalate to aggression, the big man did, therefore he's in the wrong.

I won't say more about this now, I will agree to disagree.

I can't believe I have been on here all day. I do love following this thread but I am suffering terribly with cabin fever....I am so so so bored! I've done all my paper work and I can't really apply for jobs yet as I'm not well enough for interviews arghhhhh!! I need a T's glitch to convince mother dearest to let me leave the house! :p

Lol....edited my original post, had Bertie as a 'she' ! Sorry about that :o I bet he does give you a good laugh and where would we be without laughter?! My little one is a MINX!! She's a nightmare at times but I wouldn't change her for the world:rotfl:

If there's anything on the go for free I'm there! My local T's had cheese samples on the counter the other week. I must have ate half a pound of the stuff! :)

Do you have a Wire Haired Fox Terrier as well then? Bertie isn't really funny, more of a pain in the as$. He terrorises my dog. :(
