Now I am going to blame Argos for my fall off the wagon have demolished a whole CDM since my last post and now feel really bad. Diet had been going quite well but it took no time at all to eat a whole one. Why can't they communicate it is driving me mad, all so vague. I understand that unforseen circumstances may have led to non delivery yesterday but surely I should have been one of the first en route today. Sorry for my little rant just need to off load. :(

Don't feel bad Tiny, tomorrows another day and a bar of CDM's not the end of the world. Why don't you send them a stinking email, explaining about all the time you wasted, the CDM you've eaten in frustration and that you deserve some form of compensation;)OK miss out the CDM part:rotfl:But I'd email them, it won't hurt and you never know what might happen, you might get a voucher or something:)

Afternoon all, hope you are all doing ok - big hugs and love to Sunshinestar and Sanya, really hope all goes well for you both and labour isn't too painful, can't wait to see the pics of the newborns.

As for the fare dodger - i think he had enough chances to get himself out of his seat and off the train, the conductor being an older guy didn't really stand a chance as the kid was basically taking the p iss out of him, he knew the conductor couldn't remove him as he is not allowed to touch passengers, as far as im concerned fair play to the big fella for removing him, he had been asked and told on numerous occasions to leave the train - im not a big fella but a girl and i would have done exactly the same - and i have done in my past, i use to be a pub landlady and we were always getting kids coming in to try and get a drink under age - no chance, on one occasion i asked a group of girls to leave they were only about fifteen yrs old and came into the pub worse for wear asking for a drink, i refused and asked them to leave three of them did but one thought she would be the big un and say make me!! well i gave her enough chances. I rang the police and said i needed help in removing her as she wouldn't go and they said someone would be with me within the next couple of hours!!!! i tried asking her again to leave and then the little bit ch spat right in my face - i picked her up by the seat of her pants and promptly placed her on the pavement outside and would do it again, if i had to - so yes i think he definitely did the right thing and would back him all the way.

Something that is on my weekly shopping list so a pleasant surprise today that I thought I would share with the 11+.

Packets of mini rolls come in 6 and 10 packs, however the 6 pack has 4 free so 10 rolls for £1.08 compared to £2.00 for the 10 pack :j:j. School party contribution sorted. :j:j

    CDM scanned at £1.39

I was wrong, it's sleet!

They should have called the police who would have removed him, things like this are irritating and yes, I would have FELT like doing the same thing but I wouldn't have done it. As you say several times, he was a KID, are you really saying it's ok for a 20 stone bulldozer of a man to body slam him onto a concrete pavement over fare dodging? How would you feel it that was your child?! It's disgraceful.

I would hope that my kids aren't brought up to do this!!!!

Still waiting for our 1st clipstrip strip from this group!!

When I was suffering "Cabin Fever" yesterday I did consider borrowing Nikkilala's clip strips & volunteering but the feeling has passed & common sense has prevailed, that & the fact my cat has ripped my chest to shreds whilst trying to comb her tangles out

If you are not paying for it, you're not the customer; you're the product being sold.
