Though not sure if this is the correct thread, just had to share my good fortune with you all.
Was at T's the other day, and while there, had a look at their hoovers, as I had been needing a new one for a while now. (Just waiting on the right bargain, watching me pennies, you know).
Well there it was, just sitting on the shelf, waiting for me.:j
A Brand new hoover, Hoover Hurricane 2000W, no extra hose or pet tool (but I have got them on my old one, so can use them), oh, and no box. Price 9.18 WHAT ????
Yeap 9.18, NO SORRY, made a mistake there, make that 8.27:D as when I went to pay, would you believe it, there was another 10% off:D, all ex display items. So happy with my bargain:), just had to give it a dust off, and boy did I need it, I hoovered my living room and when I had finished the cylinder was full:o:o Funny how you think something works until you get a new one that works properly.Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay0 -
I emailed Mr T the other day to praise a member of staff at my local.Today T`s phoned back to say they are going to give the young lady some sort of recognition.I know we have alittle moan at the trouts sometimes on here but please give the hard working staff praise too xxxToni`s Mummy0

Not sure if the info I was given was 100% accurate but I've been told that the Next sale this year will be on Boxing Day  Given it's the day afer Xmas 'apparently' the sale will start at 7am instead of 5am.0

Had to spent £40 so I could use my £6 voucher but shop included:
McVities Temptation biscuits £8.00 v £3.00 in A
(you would not pay £8 for these under normal circumstances, there are less biscuits than the Fox's )
Three Barrells brandy 70cl £13.77 v £10.00.
Cadbury Fabulous Fingers £1.99 v £1.00
Mini toffee fingers £1.59 v £1.00
Walkers 24 pack x 2 £6.50 v £5.00
£11.85 voucher, plus might get a few pence off the other bits of shopping?0 -
I have a set of cutlery from the now defunct T.W.A. which I use all the time. probably worth a fortune on EBay strange how you can get attached to freebies
my favourite mug was a freebie from a petrol station years ago, its nothing special but its mine, no one is allowed to use it.
The more I read on here the more I think I have OCD
I have some lovely Crossair teaspoons ... have they gone bust as well?:o0 -

Do the Temptations still compare at £8 and £3? Has anyone had a voucher in past day or two?
Yeah ... thanks to the tip off on here ... I got 4 (2 shops x 2 boxes) boxes when they were £15 and got a £18.97 voucher (other bits of shopping brought the overpay down) and £20 voucher :j0
