That salary is less than bottom of band 1. Obviously your employer is applying their own job rates so I can't comment on you circumstances.
Is this a care home perhaps?
Hmmm sort of. It is a home for people with severe learning disabilitys. I think the pay is good. It is 6.18 per hour, I was only on £4.92 in my last home0 -

Current rates:
Band 2 £13903 - £17003 Band 3 £15860 - £18827 plus O/T, enhances rates for weekend/ public holidays, shift allowances, pension etc etc.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -
The care assistants that I know in the NHS are on about £8 an hour I think. (Band 3)0
