Calibre will convert almost anything to anything - it will certainly do Kindle to Kobo
Edit - and it finds your ebooks for you from all over the world. So, if the book is not available from a UK e-publisher, you can find it from another supplier. I bought a book that was not available over here from an American e-publisher, converted it to Kindle and it worked perfectly - all for £2.50.0 -
i looked at all the ereader s and decided on the touch , 99 at smiths with 2% quidco , the ereader in my opinion was much better than the others due to its quilted back , the page actually looks like paper (white not grey) , and you can also download books at your library with it , without upgrading the software or anything
also the touch facility on the kobo touch is more inline with todays tech , felt pressing buttons a bit old fashioned , it has a touch screen scribble pad so you can write notes on the screen and save themmy favourite food is spare ribs0
