With the coming end of cheap easy credit, and the soaring of mortgage repayments very soon, the best advice is if you have a second home sell it pronto.

My Dad has a second home. It's a cottage in a nice place where he goes to walk, read, relax and generally enjoy life. Why would the best advice be for him to sell it?

Because we are clearly a homogenous bunch who have the same needs. Therefore everyone should forego second homes. Your Dad can sell up, stop walking and relaxing, invest in hair shirts and of course, silver. Honestly Cleaver, walking, reading, what could be less MSE? Tut!

Nice to see that pimpernel's number thing never got to him or inspired him though.
    Totally different meaning.

I'd say it's not that hard to guess it's meaning.
But I have a feeling a couple of people might never find out.... or be able to admit to finding out.

But then I could be wrong.... it did happen once before....

Yep, Pimp's explained his meaning and how the no 5 balloon has rolled over the the number 6 due to the recenet anniversary.

Got to say, still not clear on the no2 (despite your trying to clue me up with the couple).
I was thinking it might have meant 2 years since the trough of 2009 ;)

Never got to me this time last year either.
Or, y'know, every other week the year before that.
And the year before that. etc

Absolutely clear that there is no link between him doing it and you doing it. Couldn't agree more. :rotfl:

It is, however, equally clear that it isn't bothering ISTL at all! Much. :rotfl:
