imaginary to you maybe, but thankfully, very real to me
what you can't seem to grasp is that it's not so unusual for someone in their 40's to get a new job, sell their house and rent while they look for somewhere new to buy....... but then decide to invest the capital in something different
you also find it hard to grasp the fact that houses were massively over-valued and falling in price at the time, whilst gold was under-valued and rising in price.....it all seems too complicated for you to understand. but that's your loss and my gain
you also find it hard to grasp that i live in surrey and can rent cheaper than i can buy
you also find it hard to grasp that surrey has the UK HQ's for FTSE giants including GSK, P&G, Unilever and Nestle to name but a small selection....
but, i think the hardest thing for you to grasp, it that it wasn't you that did it....that's the real issue isn't it?0 -
What I don't understand - if you want to short uk house prices aren't there derivatives you can use? Why go through the hassle and transaction costs of physically selling your house?I think....0
