You can have two iPhones on one computer, they will then share apps, music, everything else you want them to.

But assuming you have separate user accounts on the PC, your husband can just set up his own iTunes account on his user account.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Create NEW iTunes account. When you open itunes store on the itunes, top right shows your account (email address), click on that, drop down menu, click on account, Create Account. Follow the on screen instructions
Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j
  • I would personally share the same iTunes account otherwise you have to pay for everything twice :) You can even use the same iTunes on your computer each phone/device can sync different information ie different apps and different music. This is the way my wife and i have our iPhones setup and it works well.

I already have my itunes account on computer......so how does my hubby share the itunes account .when staring his iphone up....
sorry i am cluless 1 lol ! my daughter got mine up and running.
  • When he plugs his new iPhone to your pc for the first time iTunes will ask you if you want to replace the existing phone with the new one (you don't!) or treat the new phone as an addtional phone to link to the iTunes account.

The cool things about iTunes is that you setup your account against iTunes so that anything you plug in and setup will automatically setup against your iTunes account. If you are buying a new 4S or iPad which comes with new iOS5 you may have to enter you itunes details in as it doesnt require a PC to setup. Its dead simple and if you do it wrong no worries you can try again :) Let me know if you need anymore help

By creating an additional user account via Control Panel>User Accounts. I thought everyone did that-why would you share the same desktop?

You're getting confused between OS accounts and iTunes accounts.
Plus most families share the same user account on the computer anyway.
