  • Dont think its worth the hassle really, there are plenty of them blankets around anyway and no where near their original price of £29.99. Hopefully get my refund from groupon back - although I did use a £6 credit from a referral and a £5 voucher so hoping to get those back too. Will wait and see

I saw this and looked at the website - the lack of any terms and conditions etc.. put me off so I googled and found the thread. Puts me off using groupon to be honest.. don't they check the sources?

I emailed them earlier today as was trying to place an order unsuccessfully and received this email back at 9.12pm

    hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused, could you please visit my website now and redeemed the voucher code, because they turned valid on 9 december after 8pm, if you could please try now , they will definitely redeemed, and if you still got any problem, then please provide me your voucher code, and i will ensure you that you will receive your product before Christmas.
    Kind regards

They are now trying to charge me £9.22 on top of the hefty £10.35 (postage for 3).

    I'll post when I receive a reply.

    Very disappointed so far

    My reply to them wanting to charge me over £20 was;

    Hi,
I am really sorry about that, it was a system error , could you please try again now.
    Kind regards

I too am going to seek a refund as the £10.35 postage isn't worth it. It should have been stated on the groupon offer page, multiplying postage by 3 is not good customer service. Companies should always combine postage as best they can.
  • I know if I had to send 3 blankets in the post I could get it for a lot less than £10.34!

Still waiting for groupon to reply. . . watch this space

  • just had an email from them. Their grammar is shocking, even worse than mine! There were even words missing out of sentences!

    Hi,
I am really sorry about that, but it £3.45 per item, as we are providing
speciall delivery services and willing to dispatched and delivered the item
    before christmas.

    Kind regards

Not even a name to sign it off!
  • I have just been onto groupon and requested back my money and it will be in my account in half an hour. So if you are not happy with this firm, go back and deal with it. Thanks for the phone number. I tried it a couple of days ago and it was full. It still is. Full.
    Happy christmas xx:
  • Thanks everyone for your posts - the number was very useful.

I called and they explained about the Christmas rush business and their having to pay more to have their parcels delivered, and so are charging 3.45 per item. Also they informed me that they ran out of stock and had to order new ones, which are more expensive and have two pockets. Still works for me.
  • I have written 3 emails to groupon for a refund but no reply from them at all. Not happy, have always had good service from groupon ....hoping they will still refund me.

  • Hmm..rave reviews from first time posters....

I assume the OP means millprice.com not .co.uk as there is no .co.uk registered only .com
