The only way you could really do it besides posting them is buy them for collection from a Fast Ticket Machine at the station, presuming it's a larger one they'll have them. Not much use to you this time I know.
When you book through the Virgin Trains site it gives you this option at the end. I'm not sure if the site in this thread gives you that option or not.
Thinking about it you probably still need the payment card for collection when you go for them.0
