Great to see loads of you are doing well so far.
I have sold a couple of things on ebay and have made £22.43 after listing and postage costs. I have also been paid £8.16 from quidco, I have just received £10 into my paypal account from mysurvey and have got £40 in tesco vouchers from valued opinions. I also did a £10 mystery shop but am still waiting for that money but it should go through in the next couple of days.
Only £1921.41 to go, but I will be listing a few more things on ebay soon.0 -
All newcomers added, thats 145 of us trying to make an extra £29k!!!
not much to report, entered 250 comps yesterday, thats about 800 in the last week or so, so surely I must win something!!
I have turned some of my xmas cards into gift tags, I only got 6 tags out of 70 Xmas cards, but I figure that will save me 60p come next xmas:money:
Weekly food shop today and I have about £3 of coupons I can use.
Did a 75p yougov survey today and all my archer fish clicks
I am up to £18.60 so far. Just £1993.40 to go:rotfl:2014 = New Year, New Me0 -
Ok, OH has put a couple of things on ebay so a good start (mobiles that were just sat in the top kitchen drawer), but whilst clearing through a drawer in the bedroom I found an old holiday purse that has over 50 euros in it. OH says that this is cheating if I add this to my amount as is technically money that I had anyway, but would like your views on this as this would get me off to a start.
THanks,

I've done quite a few variations of this kind of challenge on here over the years and I think the general concensus is money that you don't get from your main job/benefits/income stream.
After that it's how each person chooses to use it. I'd say changing up the euros to sterling and then adding that to your challenge fund is no different to selling something else you've found at home!

OH has sorted, with my help, through all his model railway stuff and I have a box full of stuff he doesn't want - I've just checked a few bits out on ebay - can't believe how well some bits should sell - am going to aim to get 5 of the 'can start at 99p' bits on tonight.
Oh and I'm back having another go at Onepoll, after a burst in September I stopped again so going to give that another go.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Count me in! as much as possible as quickly as possible. Have been lurking for six months, cutting costs massively and having a surprisingly steady trickle into my bank from all the above ideas, so time to up my game, and stay focused.
My first ever post though! Oh it was exhausting working out how to join. Time for a lie down lol!
and then I am off to count my money box and add the 20p I found in the washing machine drain.
I am going to only count it once its in the bank though, so frustrating at first but it will all pay eventually.
Fab idea, thankyou xx0 -
Please can you add me
Minnie - many thanks for the spreadsheet - that and this forum given me a few ideas
In fact got 13 quid today selling 2 books

Hello , just popping in to wish everyone good luck with their new challenges. I am aiming to earn £167 at least this month, 1/12th of my £2012 target by :
- surveys every day
- topcash back and daily clicks
- ebaying
- cleaning if possible
Sorry - what do you mean by daily clicks on topcashback?
Thanks0 -
^If you join topcashback (and many other cashback sites) there's a section with no purchase necessary cashback. You can click through to certain search engines and get pennies each day for doing so. There's a whole thread on it here on MSE somewhere.
I'm finally off the mark for 2012 - a couple of ebay sales, although small. Will add to my signature once I've paid postage, etc.0
