Just updating May's total's as I'm flying off for a month's holiday tomorrow (flights paid for with Air Miles of course!). I won't be making much in June unless I get lucky in Vegas :)

    May's total is 317.58
    Airbnb rental £183
    Surveys: £15
    Cashback: £5.97
Money off £106.61 (had a lot to buy for the trip, but managed to use discount vouchers/offers for alot of it!)
    Mobile phone bill savings £7

I've now got over the £2K mark which is really heartening! Onwards and upwards and good luck everyone

Tis the end of my month again and I was about to say I have nothing, but just realised thats not true! got the tax return in May, and £60 focus group/ gas refund of cheques still lying downstairs.

Other than that I have nothing lol, but I am only £50 short of clearing the mega april overdraft, so will use the cheques for that, and I am in the game again.

Airbnb is great. I've used it as a customer, not currently in a situation to use it as a host/property owner.

It's a fab way of renting out a spare room, sofa or your whole place for anything from a night to several months!

Owners place their details on the website, including availability via a calendar, customers search for accommodation that's available within the area they want to stay.

I used it for nearly 3 weeks in San Francisco, and have nearly used it on several other occasions. Paid for first week via paypal and then discounted the remainder directly with the owner.

There are obviously risks associated with having strangers in the house however.

Didn't get my timesheet in on time to get my extra wages this month so my May total is a measly £38.82. :( Oh well, they will come in next month and give me a boost!
