Agree the quality is hit and miss and with the free delivery codes becoming very sparse I've not been prepared to chance it so my order total has significantly decreased over the past couple of months. Don't know if I'll get a slot, not too bothered if I don't but coming here is like an addiction lol.

I called them after seeing this and a guy told me that I had a slot and would get an email between monday and thursday. I have had a christmas one for the past 4-5 years. I really didnt think i would get one this year though as I haven't really spent anything. I got a summer slot too and hardly spent anything as it was so rubbish so thought for sure i wouldnt get one. However I have been told in the past by next that i have a slot only to be later told i dont so who knows.

I just called customer service and was told by the most unhelpful advisor that she couldnt confirm when the emails would come out or if I was even on the mailing list!

If you are on the list for an email invite, you get a VIP option to book a slot by logging into your account when the VIP system goes live, whether you've actually received your email or not yet. For example, last Xmas next sale I was able to book my slot on Sunday afternoon via logging into my account, but didn't get an invite email until Monday afternoon.

i used to buy almost all my kids clothes from next. but now the quality has most definitely gone downhill. really disappointing, as the prices go up on the clothing each yr. this yr i will not be buying everything from next. i find marks and spencers clothing to be nicer. bought jeans and a summer jkt for my daughter and she always gets compliments when she wears them. also i think h&m have a better variety than next....and monsoons have better dresses...

I have just changed my email adress right now, do you think that if i was on the list for a vip slot that it would be emailed to my old or new email address, hope it will be the new one because i can't for the life of me remember the login details on the old one

The NEXT sale definitely isn't what it used to be. Their quality has gone way downhill. If it wasn't for the fact they sell "Branded" products I wouldn't bother having a Next Directory.

From what I remember from the last few I have registered for I have always logged into my account and see the VIP registration link on my account and done it from there. My email has often arrived after I've done this so worth checking your account as often as you can. Hope its today :-)
