Is there an online sale too on Boxing Day? I'm not an account customer but there's a coat I'd love if it was reduced (currently £90). Or is online a bit of a waste of time as the good stuff is gone in the VIP sale time? I can't face getting up so early on Boxing Day!

Am a relatively new NEXT customer and have recently ordered some of their kids clothes online. How do you become a VIP - is it something to do with how much you spend annually? I'd like to take a look at the sale too but doubt I'll qualify for VIP memebership.

Apparently there is certain criteria such as how much you spend during the season, the percentage of returns etc but not sure its anything more than luck to be honest. Mostly its the same people that get the slots, it appears that once you get one you continue to get one, not really a very fair system. I'm lucky enough to have had one for a few sales but I've had a directory for about 18 years now! :eek: Maybe give them a call and ask them....you've nothing to lose. Good luck

Just received my online VIP slot for the Next sale for Friday 23rd which usually means the online sale for general public will be Xmas eve!

Here's my two pence worth...... My surname begins with S. I always get an invite to the VIP sale. I probably spend about £150 each in the summer and xmas sales, very little in between. I logged into my next account at 12.45pm on Monday and got a 6pm slot for Thursday. I got an email inviting me for the sale on Tuesday.

I wonder if Next actually put much thought into how they send the invites out?! I think it's a lottery. Hope everyone gets what they want either on line or on Boxing day

Well I eventually got my slot but not til 7.30pm so I think most good stuff will be gone by then as the first slot is 6pm. I called CS trying to get an earlier slot as I was told I was one of the first batch of e-mails to be sent out (mmm not sure I was really!!) and they won't change it :-( but at least there should still be some stuff left at 7.30pm hopefully! CS told me that the e-mails are purely sent out on a random basis and it was the luck of the draw when you get your e-mail and that they can't send them all out at one as the system would crash so you just have to hope you are lucky and get an earlier e-mail!
