Huzzah! I get the honour of putting my things up first. Ok then:
- Had a good sleep today, sounds silly but I really really needed it!!
- Worked
- Made a PAD
- Started learning a new song on guitar
- not a NSD sadly, but only spent money on petrol, so that's not too bad!
Tomorrow I plan to tidy the spare room ready for visitors over xmas, and also might make a curry. Will also start wrapping xmas pressies, and get to the bank

Today I:
- Worked
- Made a PAD
- Got some free food at work
- having a lovely cuddle with my cat as I type :O)
- filled up the car with petrol. Despite the expense, this IS a positive, as hopefully it means I won't have to do it next week. Inevitably I normally end up rushing to work and filling up on the way, when I'm both late and down to the vapours
And yesterday I ordered my first gift card on Swagbucks, yay!0 -
Ooooh yaaay, I am starting to get the hang of swagbucks now i think, still niot quite there but getting better

I have some positives but they are from the whole weekend really
1. Had a lovely girls night out yesterday, managed to only spend £5 as made snacks (positive no.2) to take to the party from the contents of the cupboards and then got half price drinks (positive no.3 )cuz i used to work in the bar we went to
2. Got some nice xmassy stuff from Oxfam
3. Made a start on writing and sending xmas cards and wrapping presents
4. ordered some new flyers for my dance classes
5. Had a nice lazy day today with oh and also a nsd

Nice to be back, thought I'd lost the thread.
Well you seem to be doing well vinternet and suzitiger. I haven't posted for a while though things are starting to hot up in the run up to Christmas so here goes- done all Christmas shopping bar 2 people and stuck within budget
- finished very tricky puzzle so can start Christmas one
- ate first mince pie and had first glass of mulled wine
- earned more money on valued opinions site
- have stopped nagging DS1 about revising for mocks therefore less arguements in the house (however the consequences of this might be very negative but neither of us could stand it any longer!)
- ate fish and chips at Southend seafront on Sunday after watching DS1 play rugby
- put up tree from the attic saving money on real tree
- made a lovely mantlepiece decoration with plants from the garden
- got back on here
Happy Monday to all.

I did badly in my mock GCSEs, but getting the !!!!-poor results back was just the kick up the bum I needed - I ended up getting all As and Bs. So he might learn from not revising

After a false start and then spending too much and scaring myself I have
- restarted my New start for a newbie diary to keep me motivated
- updated my signature to show true nature of debts
- made a lot of stuff to sell on ebay
- rather than throw out food i'm not going to eat have parceled it up to send to son#1 to eat for me!
- walked the dog already and made her day by giving her a bit of cat food!
- Checked the bank
- got lunch from the freezer - spent no extra money on food today
- bought all but 2 xmas gifts
- cleaned out the fridge
- done xmas food shopping on line so I'm not tempted by'Bargains'
- Had my first trip to £1land, stocked up on washing powder etc
- Bought some copy perfume from £1land - can't tell the difference!
- Found this link!!!!!
Please all on here who seem such nice folk, have a look at my diary and offer some advice, I seem to be a shopaholic! Need a new start in January:o:o:ovintage43:A

Thanks for that thevinternet. I need to know it's not actually the end of the world and I think you may be right that it gives him a kick up the ****!
Its so hard to think he may bomb out and with the job climate as it is there is nothing out there for him. It's not like we run a family business or anything and I worry he will end up unemployed with no prospects.
Well done vintage43. A new start at this time of the year is really hard but you seem to be getting there. Good for you.
