I've been so strong and coping with everything so far and yet today I've felt like I've just crashed.
I'm crying a lot and just feel down and numb. I feel sad....

Sometimes a good cry helps clear out your system. It won't always feel this bad. You take care.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Take care - is it something in particular that has upset you, or just everything getting on top of you?0

Have good cry, you'll feel better for it tomorrow. Then think rationally about what has upset you and try to work through it. Look after yourselfSantander 0% £1,529.94

I think everything is getting on top of me. Mr BR is at work during the day and can 'escape' in his head while he's there, but I can't..Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

I know the feeling chick. This forum will be a blessing for me I feel. As I cannot cry any more to my OH as he is starting to get sick and tired of it, and starting to lose faith in my ability to sort myself out. I can't cry to my friends because they remember me as the life of the party and I do not want them to keep seeing me as this somewhat broken woman. I always remember what my mum always says when I'm upset about something (and I may have it tattooed at some point) - "Everything in life matters, but nothing matters terribly". I always envision the homeless, watch documentaries on the Holocaust or read horrible stories in the news and realise that life is there for the taking and there are people in much worse situations that manage to keep smiling, and it gives me inspiration. Big hugs! x0

Rose,
I've not really seen any of your previous posts.

Motivation and 'take yor mind off it' stuff is what you need.
Read a book, do some baking, do a crossword, they are great at doing that.
Take care, and talk to your OH about it
Skint or not, you need a treat now and again.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thanks folks.
The irony is that technically, this is his debt. I mean that it's all in his name and the problems started over 7 years ago before we got together. Not because he's bad with money, but more because bad choices were made after his divorce, then there was a re-mortgage, then the use of cards to meals out etc...then I arrived and initially had a job, but haven't had steady work for a while now and, again due to bad choices, we've ended up on the cusp of a DMP and with no cash.
It was about 4 years ago when he first broke down in tears and told me about our financial position. We're not married, but engaged and I feel that we're in it together, that it's our debt...and yet it feels as though I'm doing all the work to fix it by coming on here, contacting the CCCS and setting wheels in motion. Again, I don;t want to make it sound like he's not helping, he is, but it's how I *feel* at the moment.
