Dialaphone cashback? Reliable?

Any of you had any bad experiences with them?
The problem is that the phone I want is on O2 and comes with 8 months free via redemption.
But if I remove the o2 data bolt on, would Dial A Phone not pay the redemption cashback because I have removed it?

The quoted line rental on the O2 offerings is the minimum you will pay per month. Removing the bolt on (which comes free can be with the line rental) will not reduce your line rental - if you are thinking of making some saving like that.0

No. You can definitely remove the bolt on. I have done it before.
Eg the contract is £21.50 with 500MB. But you can make it £15.50 when you remove the bolt on.0 -

Hmm. Was that a cashback deal. I would have thought it would have voided the cashback then?0 -
The deal is £21.50 with 500MB. And it also says 8 months are free by redemption.
I am just wondering will removing the bolt on effect cashback.0 -

The redemption is based on you staying on the same tariff. I can't find the exact t&c for cashback (or at least not clear ones) on their site. Best to check with them. But I would have thought the bolt on from O2 is a free one, you could ask to O2 to reduce it but I doubt you will save any money. And for cashback deals its usually expected you stay on the same tariff for the duration of the contract.

Here is the blurb from their site (no clearer - ask them to clarify if you intend to take a cashback deal)
If you have change your price plan but your line has remain connected you can still send in your bills as per your contract. The amount you are paid will not change in reflection with your new tariff charges.
which you can find here http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/help.aspx#Questions%20about%20Redemptions%20and%20Cashback0 -
No bolt on is free.
The O2 tariff is £15.50 + £6 Bolt on for internet. Is the tariff cost £21.50 or £15.50, grey area.
The bold part is good news I think, I can't find anything on their site, but will phone them today.0 -
1) Under the current t&c with this dealer changing the tariff etc. won't affect the cashback.
2) their cashback t&c are very vague. Whilst claiming should be straightforward, you don't find out exactly what you need to do and with what until after you take out the contract - and then it is sometimes incorrect.
Generally they are "safe" - but you have to know what you're doing.0 -

Phoning may offer reassurance, but with ANY cashback deal from ANY dealer you need to get written confirmation IF you need to. In this instance you do not, since you already have it - provided you ensure you copy and save it at the time you order.
Do yuor reserach properly rather than asking questions which don't always provide correct answers. You may start with this:-
