id have to say i agree with all your comments about this company although for me it took 2 weeks plus but i did get paid.
im suspecting the only reason i got paid was cause i sent my phone registered, as some of these companies "believe" they didn't receive it otherwise, so i had the insurance to fall back on.
and when chasing them for payment on the 3rd occasion i advised them yesterday that i would firstly be blacklisting the phone, with the network its locked to so as its no use to them and secondly writing to OFCOM.
today i got paid! into the account whose details i originally supplied and they said the funds had been returned! so i supplied different bank details and they padi into the original ones.0 -
I too am now a tad concerned at not having received payment despite having sent the phone off some 5/6 weeks ago.
The 'company' have confirmed receipt of the handset as they offered me a revised figure. I do wonder whether they do this with all transacations i.e. entice people in with the best offer and then once they have the phone offer a reduced value.
Having viewed the 'company' address on Google Street view it appears to be a residential block of flats...
I have done as others have in threatening to blacklist the phone with the network provider, we'll see how I get on....
Incidentally I only went through them as they offered the largest value and cashback...0 -
Looks like my daughter has been ripped off as well . The exact same thing reduced the offer then claimed they paid in and returned then nothing . Phone rings out or goes to BT answerphone.
I have mailed and threatened to block the phone and contact OFCOM but I have also advised the local police will get involved for theft .
