some good parks in good location I have been to Cotswold & Somest , Cotswold was better for us but both brilliant
I can thoroughly recommend Hoburne. We stay at the Torbay one at least every other year. Going next year. The only Park Resorts ones I have stayed at are ones on the Isle of Wight which are lovely.Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -
Me and the kids always enjoyed Park Resorts at Naze Marine, Walton on The Naze. Far less garish than nearby Clacton.
It's a short stroll to Walton's sandy beach which stretches about 5 miles towards Clacton (where it becomes pebbly). The stretch closest to the site doesn't get completely covered even at high tide. Walton Pier has rides aimed at the younger age group.0 -
I would recommend the ISle Of Wight, Having stayed there when I was a child and they were haven i have now taken my daughter for the past 3 years, lovely beaches, great entertainment, some of the bronze caravans are basic but fine.
You can also use your tesco clubcard vouchers for the Ferry tickets.0 -
I would also recomend the isle of wight park resort sites.Always on the hunt for a bargain0

Are you sure it wasn't pontins in camber you saw on watchdog as park resorts in Camber is ok and just across the road from a lovely beach (i'm biased I live in Camber). If you're not keen on park resorts in camber there is another caravan site called frenchs in Winchelsea which is a few miles down the road which is in a pleasant location0 -
Park resorts was the worst holiday of our lives. (not on the site ur thinking about going to tho).
Complained so much that we got a full refund and we left a day early despite it being our only holiday of the year!0 -

Lol, if ours is that bad I too will complain!! Where did you stay? We are looking at California cliffs now.0 -
I would hold off booking it for now as the Daily Mail did £10-£15 a night Park resorts deals using the Breakfree site for July-August in March. You have to check carefully dates as some resorts add £5 per person for entertianment passes, service charges etc, but even with that still a lot cheaper.
