And they have the cheek to charge upfront valuation fee, after which if you aren't happy with the offer you will lose the valuation fee.

Stay clear of National Home Buyers.

Never pay upfront fee. Plenty of buyers out there who will give you an approx offer for no fee.

Since you're so obviously in the same line of business as NHB, don't you think it's a bit unethical to be publicly bad-mouthing them like this....?

anyone can count the number of properties on RM for any area of Scotland, and can count the number on SPC and other agent websites, and it's not difficult to spot that there are areas of Scotland where RM has less than 25% of the available properties in the area. I counted their share for Aberdeen recently, and found it to be less than 3%......

Why would anyone look on RM, or even think RM was remotely near the market leader in their area, when there's so few properties on RM...?

In my town there are 134 properties on RM and 16 on ESPC....of which 14 are on RM also so thats 2 properties that are for sale that aren't on RM and I have hunted high and low and there are no more.
The OP of this ancient thread said RM wasn't relevant in Scotland which is not true. Perhaps in some areas it may be but it is certainly not country wide :)

Is that 134 pre-owned, or does it include a big stack of developers and builders' new-builds?

You're obviously within reach of Edinburgh, since you mention the ESPC - which county are we talking about here?

And who, generally, are selling the 122 (134-16) on RM that aren't being sold by the local SPC?
