Tax Credit payment Wed 07th

hi everyone,

has anyone received their payment yet?

I am starting to get worried as I havent received mine and it is normally in the account by midnight. Unfortnately I depend on it to pay my childminder and I just want to make sure I am not the only one, if that is the case.

me too, i'm very worried - mine not in, spoken to barclays and they've said they're aware of a problem with customers accounts being credited for dwp and tax credit payments. they don't know whether the problem is with them or with tax credits - i've no money to get to work, i'm really panicking

I've just checked my Barclays online and it's not there. (child tax)

Never been late before, Im just going to have to check every half hour, no chance of sleeping when I'm worried about this!

oh purpleheart,

I am also with barclays and I have just called them and they said no transactions are showing.

Hopefully it is an error and it will be sorted in the morning.

I will keep you updated.

me too - i won't sleep either, and it's the worst time for me too!
Apparently it's worth phoning again after 2.30pm as they do another system update then, so if payments are going to be delayed there's a possibility they'll be credited then, but I certainly wouldn't rely on it :-(

Barclays here too! Maybe it is something wrong with barclays, I really hope so! I cant sleep either.

seems to be a barclays issue then? Although that may just be because Barclays sort out payments for the next day much earlier than most other banks. Fingers crossed it'll be in there by morning for all of us! They mentioned problems with DWP payments too - interesting, as they're totally different agencies?

well if you don't manage to sleep, it is apparently worth calling after 2.30pm as they're investigating the issue so even if money's not credited, they may have more info

It has to be an error, what are the odds we all having problems with our payments and the same bank too! here I am hoping tho.

It's scary it's showing theres no payments on the system!
At least if they could see one coming that would be a relief, I've had mine weekly for 3 years.

I'm really worried apart from a small child benefit payment some weeks Child tax is all we have to live on.
