Great idea to transfer to the best rate on the market but they only allow transfers of up to £3000 plus any interest if this this years subscription.
They can't cope with trnsfers from accounts that has previous years subscriptions.
I have wasted! two hours on the phone to them trying to get an clear explanation..so any benefit that I would have got from the increase in interest rate has been wasted in phone calls, time, effort and stress!!!!!!!!!

I've applied online for this. My initial £3000 was from 2003/4 so does this rule me out?

£3000 (+interest if you are transferring) is the maximum they will take. If you apply now you can transfer (or open with cash) £3000 and then the same again after April 5th.
SimonIf at first you don't succeed... CHEAT...0
