Grrrr, RM website down again!!

Smartstamp account is not working however, I found a way of loading my account before so I could still use SmartStamp but all of it is down AGAIN today and I cannot do anything,

Come on RM, sort the damn thing out. I am ordering City Link for some of my parcels tomorrow, 1st class is taking 3-4 days at the moment as well.

Frustrating and annoying.

the only people I use in the winter for urgent stuff is APC, the reason being they're franchises meaning they are afraid of the snow, last year with APC everything was running pretty much normally for me, I was really quite impressed. http://www.apc-overnight.com/index.php

Yep it is working now. It was not definately not working earlier as I could not even get to put my card details in and I was trying for about 5 hours in total and could not get my mail done today as I could not get to the Post Office. When I got to the page that let you choose how much to top up by, it just chucked me out to the page I'll show you below.

I cannot use a courier - no-one wants to pay £5-£8 for the delivery of a large letter sized packet.

However, click the 'my account' page on the smartstamp page and this is what you get and you have to go onto the 'buy postage' page to load your account - the direct link does not work and has not worked for about 2 weeks:

If you sell a fair bit soolin, you ought to consider a franking machine, you can book parcelforce on them as well

I just don't sell enough over the course of a year to make it worthwhile.

I got about two European ones done this evening before the system went down and i went back to sticking stamps on envelopes.

With so much downtime and European post being fairly expensive I am almost out of stamps- so off to order more (assuming that bit of the website is actually working of course)

if you have a business account then RM site for them is OK, so is postoffice.co.uk. i have a few items to go to australia and have £100 in my online account, so i dont want to go to PO but looks that way.

if you have a smartstamp account you will be laughing as they are going to give you a payment of £25 as a gesture of goodwill.
