cant get my phone to automatically connect with my bluetooth in my car

anyone know how to do this?

If its anything like using a bluetooth earpiece you will have to put the device you want connected to the phone in pairing mode, (with an earpiece normally by keeping the on button pressed for many seconds until the bluetooth light illuminates continiously). Then search for the signal with the phone and pair the devices together. In this case the car and phone.

the phone and car have been paired

i'm trying to get them to pair automatically without having to go through all the menus on the phone each time i get in the car (whats the point of handsfree if you have to do that?)

please note my car doesnt have a bluetooth button as such.....if i just randomally press the main mode button when the phone and car are not paired all it does is change radio stations

i'm beginning to come to the conclusion that the reason moto supply a bluetooth kit with this phone is that no other bluetooth kit will work

my previous phone a SE W800

all you had to do was get in the car and they would automatically pair with each other

which is what i thought the point of bluetooth was

with the moto i have to do the following

press main menu
push down
push down
push left
press select whoops ive pressed broswer
cancel browser
confirm exit of browser
press select
press select again
press select again
press yes
wait for it to confrim its discoverable
press down
press select
press select
then it seeks and pairs

not being funny whats the point of a handsfree car kit if you have to do that everytime?

these phones will only work with motorola bluetooth devices that why you get a bluetooth headset with it

do not buy this phone
