od minutes?? It will be a sprint or you may actually still be there when the trains gone.
Unless you leave early.
will time the walk when we go and just keep an eye on the time.
the place doesnt seem huge so not like a full blown concert with thousands there so getting out shouldnt be too bad. the tickets say curfew 10pm do wondering if they mean all out by 10 which could mean it will be finished before.
worse comes to worse may have to leave bit early..
cheers

I still think 10 mins is optimistic , very optimistic
google suggests 14 mins walking (and that to me still seems optimistic
the postcode for the venue is B5 6DY and the station is B2 4PX0 -
google dont go threw the bullring though..
look at your route and look at the one posted.. there different.
if goolge is saying 14 on the long route then the shorter one should be faster0 -

I live in Birmingham and work in the city centre, youngish and fit, the old coach station is about half way from the train station, only time will tell though, from work at lunch break we walk around the Bull Ring and the best part of 20 mins is used up

So if you know the city centre and the Bullring, why have you pasted directions that take the route right round the edge of the bullring itself and add 4-5 minutes walking time onto the route? So if Google suggests that route is 14 minutes, surely my original 10 minutes estimate is actually pretty accurate?
OP - can you not come to Birmingham and test the route first?0 -
Doesnt the Midland Metro pass that way - looks so on the maps but im unsure of the route there"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

Come on, tell the OP what they need to know, not what they want to hear/read
here is a pic from cafe rouge, it is a good 5 mins walk from here (behind the photographer) to the station along New St and up the ramp by Mcdonalds, and still a few minutes to the church and then another few minutes to Digbeth , even along the side of the Rotunda (and as you know that route is not easily identifiable in the day let alone at night.)
Also there is some building work in progress down the steps outside of the picture towards the church, I'm not even sure it is accesable to pedestrians.
Of course just like you, we want the OP to come to Brum and the West Midlands and have a great time with happy memories, if the weather was not so bad , I would walk the route with my camera on video mode to show how long the walk would take

The red dotted route, is the only alternative pedestrian route from Digbeth (without being pedantic) , the Bull Ring Shopping Centre is not open at that time (and even if it were, you would not gain any time to walk through it)
