As it is a local authority issued PCN I would suggest you go to www.pepipoo.com and ask there for advice. They are the specialists on council PCN's."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Now please, which was it? - A PARKING charge notice or a council PENALTY charge notice?feduptobackteeth wrote: »surely 7 mins takes the micheal there must be some kind of time limit leaway
No not really but of the few councils that do give leeway its usually 5 minutes and you were longer than that.
HOWEVER.. here is my golden bit of advice that few people know of:
MOST councils operate a 1 strike then you're out policy. That means they'll let you off the first offence if you write in and basically grovel to make them feel good about themselves. Basically explain your situation, how good you found their car park, how conveinient, they're doing a great job blah blah... IF they're one of the councils that operate on the 1 strike policy then you'll get a letter back saying "On this ocassion, we've cancelled your PCN, blah blah". IF not you've at least bought yourself some extra time as they'll freeze your payment time while they decide what to do about it.
If nothing else, just write to them just to get an extra week to find the money.0 -

Doncaster rubber stamp all appeals ...FAILED...
they are however renowned for not offering evidence on adjudications, so it may well be worth sticking them in the mincer.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Now why would a poster with only 3 posts on MSE know that?"You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Apologies for my previous reply (now deleted) when I saw my name in all capitals I thought I was being shouted at by a regular here. I sincerely apologise.
The nto means that the registered keeper is legally responsible for the PCN unless the driver takes responsibility for it. It's basically the states way of ensuring that SOMEONE is forced to pay some money irrespective of who it actually was at the wheel.0 -
been on pepido but got no luck has anyone got any ideas regarding writing a letter to them0
