Yeh but that offer's on 3 mobile, the offer I linked to is on Vodafone.

Thats what I thought!!!

I'm an existing customer but contract runs out in a week. They couldn't offer me anything better than what i've got now. They quoted me £400 to upgrade to the E1000 handset on my present tariff (Anytime 100 £14.99). When I saw that deal i thought it must be a mistake but tried anyway and it seems to have gone thru although haven't recieved the phone yet.

Yeah, I think it's a good deal for that phone, you are basically just having to pay for the contract and even then you are getting 3 months half price. getting the phone for nothing and it's a 12 month usual contract.

3 seems to have been offering stuff at silly prices compared to the other networks, how can they do this? is the coverage ok?

Lots of reports of loss of signal and rubbish customer services with 3 mobile. Also with them being a new provider they need these 'silly' deals in order to build up a customer base.
