can i use sky + box and humax pvr at same time

i wonder if somebody here knows f this is possible

i have cancelled sky 2 months ago ( already have sky + box ) and have bought humaxfoxsat hdr which i am very happy with

i was considering rejoining sky just for a month for the sports channels i was wanting over xmas, but dont want to loose the ability to r ecord from my humax so want to use that that to record my channels from freesat so i dont loose them when i cancel sky again

No, the Hummy will record whenever it's connected. You can use both at once, but of course you'll need two LNB feeds for the Hummy (if you want to view and record different channels simultaneously), plus at least one for your Sky box (two for Sky+).
So a quad LNB is required to use both at once.

i'll just reconnect up sky temporarily then , if i subscribe again and reconnect hummax after i have cancelled , i used to have multi room the humax maybe could go in there so we could still record from tv in DS room ? he wont need sky box in there , i may well try that out

Yep, if you can get 2 feeds to the Humax wherever it is, you can watch and record.
