i have just called o2 customer services and after being given the runaround and 5 calls to the right department i was told that when the phone was in stock i would recieve one but when i asked further about the fault with pricing online the advisor said they would not honour the orders but the one i ordered was simply out of stock and when they are back in stock i would recieve it. obviously they are trying to fob me off as the phone i ordered (LG L343i ) was priced at 0.00 so basically it's a waiting game and i'll keep checking that order. by the way the phone number to enquire about this is:

A mistake is a mistake, and they are not under obligation to uphold the price.
The Argos thing (if i remember correctly) was advertised for 49pence and was an obvious mistake.
Funnily enough there is an article in the latest computer shopper about things like this. (The issue with the "Build a pc for £240" - good issue )
After all, come on, we used a cached page and exploited a bug.
No court is going to say we are in the right. Fight for it if you want, but I for one am a little relieved it didn't work - I think it would be perfectly understandable to of asked us for the money.

You are wasting time emailing I was told they were well aware of their legl obligations and anyoine escalating the issue correctly would get the free phones.

i think ther's no ens of folk on here with more front than brighton. wonder if anyone would be so up front if the 1 fell off a window display and had a nice phone marked at £[STRIKE]1[/STRIKE] 19.00.

would the same ammount of people be trying it on?

nope, no phone..........they are adamant that this was an error and that it cant be resolved, I would have to order and that it was now a chargeable item.......Oh well, I tried x

I placed an order for the phone with £75 but didn't receive anything, didn't expect to receive it. I wonder if my quidco will still pay me the £7.00 it tracked
