Orange Netgear router

Hi I have orange home broadband. It has been weeks since call of duty MW3 has been out. My son tried to play on line but couldn't. I contacted orange and was told there is a fault with the router they are sorting. I wrote them an email a couple of weeks ago complainingas he still was unable to get online. I had an email the other day saying they were looking into my complaint about this issue, however router problem is still not sorted. Their phone message continues to say they are working to resolve this problem( been saying this for weeks)
Any suggestions as I have spoken to them and they seem to struggle to understand what im trying to say when I explain this issue!!

You can pick up a perfectly serviceable router on eBay for a tenner or less. Much better than the Horange box.
