    The girl in waterstones told me yesterday that it was going to be released on 07-07-07. I guess she got it wrong!

    when does these book come out anyhow?
    20th/21st July at the stroke of Midnight will be when it is released, 12:01am when my copy goes thru the till.
    You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.

    Doubt that, especially as that is the anniversary of the London Bombings aswell.

    Oh I'm so excited about the new book! I don't know if I can wait for the postman to bring it though, so I'm not sure about pre-ordering even if it is cheaper. For the last book I was in Australia where it went on sale at 9am (a much more appropriate time to be standing in a book shop queue than midnight!) and the book before that I went down to my local WH Smith after closing time in the pub, and going out especially to buy it adds to my excitement... god, I'm so sad!
