i was a bit sad and went to asda in the wee small hours to get the last book when it first came out - the store was dead, not a soul about never mind a cue or crowd for the book.Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0 -
Not everybody .... wants to be standing outside one at all hours of the night when they could be out with friends or something...You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

It's just a different cover, so the "grown up" fans of Harry Potter don't have to sit on the tube/bus with a brightly coloured cartoony book cover.:rotfl:0

Thanks! Had no idea what date it was released! Half price and quidco is tempting, but seeing as I paid £30 in Barcelona for the last one (was on holiday and desperate), I just cant bear to wait until the Saturday!!
I love the queuing at midnight - harry potter parties omg what an overdose that week will be :j i cant hardly wait!

free postage was when you spend over £15, there may be an option for free delivery to a local waterstones store.... wouldn't be an ungodly hour, but you'd not be able to shuffle along in pj's and slippers (which is how i enjoy my shopping online lol):rotfl:0

biglugs wrote:Er.... NO. The fifth movie will be out in the cinemas on 13th July - the week before - so we will be O'ding on HP for about 10 days.
JKR has also announced that the audio book will be released on the same day, whereas in the past they have always been a long way behind the book.
Can't wait.....
BTW - why would anyone want to get these posted? Tesco will no doubt sell them at £8.99 and they will be instore at midnight on the Friday, so I suggest you buy them then. Can you imagine how it would feel if the postman didn't bring it on the Saturday? Doesn't bear thinking about. :eek:the Money Saving Expert team do not moderate forums, so if you see something that shouldnt be here report it! :beer:0
