Who else hates driving in the dark?

I like late night driving, have just come back from GF's house, unlit 60mph road, very little traffic and what traffic there was I overtook EASILY because at night you can see the headlights of oncoming cars/vehicles a mile away.
You can overtake anywhere with a broken central line.... GOOD TIMES!!!

Apart from the one before the bend.
Still, Darwinism is always good.0 -

Unfortunately you can't see unlit obstructions around corners:(.0 -

Anywhere, bends, hills, doesn't matter..... No glow = go..... You do of course need to have very good knowledge of the road, which I have.Unfortunately you can't see unlit obstructions around corners:(.
45mph, half asleep versus 60mph fully focused/awake..... The obstruction would be there whether your overtaking or not, so i'd rather the later. Plus it's much easier to see the road ahead when you haven't got some numpty in front braking for every slight kink in the road.
Biggest danger = drivers accelerating to stop your overtaking, had 2 of these tonight, but stealth is king

What, you turn all your lights off?
Keep it up.
Darwinism rules!
Make sure your GF post up the video though, we're all subscribed.0 -

So it's a bit hard to do the Strider stealth at night otherwise.
He probably follows you on main beam for a mile or two.0 -
maybe, but not the joggers who think black is an ideal colour for night exercise clothing, or the cyclists with no lights.because at night you can see the headlights of oncoming cars/vehicles a mile away.
Plus what about that old rule of thumb, that you should walk/run towards the oncoming traffic - many of them will never know what hit them or have the chance to avoid what might hit them
How much effort/cost is required for them to at least wear a reflective arm band0 -

No, Mikey is right, I do.... I also have stealth material taken from a decommissioned F117A Nighthawk and I wear a tin foil hat to stop the aliens. :rotfl:So it's a bit hard to do the Strider stealth at night otherwise.

What good would that do? Your object is to not stand out.....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
