Understanding Giffgaff Tariffs

Hi
just had a few quick question about GG.
If I get the £10 Goody Bag what happens to the £10 I have topped up with? Is that in effect the line rental or do I start to use the £10 after my inclusive mins/texts have expired?
If it is the case that the £10 credit kicks in after the minutes/month expires (whichever comes first) is this credit unlimited or is there a time limit on it?
I know I'm being really thick and the answer is probably obvious but I cannot seem to find a straight answer from their website.
Thanks!

you buy the goodybag with the £10 you have topped up,
so you get the 250 minutes, texts and internet in place of what you
have topped up by.0 -
Or in my case top up as new customer via GiffGaff users link £10 i get £10 added free total £20 credit .
Amount spent in the last three months is about £1-50 .Dont need a goodybag so credit just remains as PAYG credit with no monthly expirey .

The cost of the goodybag is deducted from your balance which means you end up with 250 mins of talktime and unlimited texts and data (valid for 1 month) and a nil balance on your account.
The nil balance isn't a problem if you just stick to normal phone calls and basic texts but, if you want to send mms (picture messgaes) or phone 0845/0870 numbers or texts/call phones abroad then these cost extra. For these extras you need extra funds on your account. If you use up your 250 mins of talktime then you need a balance on your account to pay for further calls (at 10p per min)
If you keep a balance on your account for such purposes, or for the next months goodybag, then these funds remain valid for as long as you continue to use giffgaff.
If you use up your 250 mins within the month then you go onto payg rates until the start of the next goodybag. Goodybags are valid for a month so if you use up your minutes allowance in the first 2 weeks you can't just buy another bag straight away, you have to wait until the end of the period of validity. Therefore, purchase the appropriate bag for your talk time usage.0 -
Thanks for the replies guys! I have 180 minutes and £9.76 credit showing (I don’t know where the 24p went, but hey ho) until the 22nd of December.
1. If I use up all my minutes before the 22nd of Dec. is the £9.76 for me to use as PAYG and does not expire or do I lose this credit come the 23rd?
2. If I do not use up my minutes before the 22nd of Dec., come the 23rd of December is the £9.76 for me to use as PAYG or is that 'lost'?
3. If I did top up £10 again (regardless of before or after the 22nd) will I then have £19.76 credit?
I hope I'm making sense - thanks for your patience!0 -

1. Does not expire and you can use it on PAYG.
2. See 1.
3. Yes.
But ask them where the 24p went.0
