Cheers Clutton, but I like the idea of freedom from censorship or ignorance of that kind and some of you need a little help sometimes, so I'm happy to reply to anyone.0 -

I was asking why you felt that to be a "straw man argument"? Seems simple enough..... even for you.
Nope now you are simply lying, you asked me how I concluded from this
"Threat made to tenants home. Did they...
Notify the landlord for her to take appropriate action to protect their property?... No.
Notify the relevant authority of a stated intent to commit a crime?... No.
Do anything that may have either prevented or mitigated the loss?... No."
that the landlord was liable.
I have never stated where I think the liability lies, and I couldnt of concluded from that anyway as you had yet to write it, you simply made up a straw man argument.
You seem to be unable to follow your own arguments.0 -
Googlies.... i doubt LUTC could follow his own .. well.. goolies........ not to put too fine a point on things....0

A small prayer.
Dear God,
Please explain from your mighty wisdom why the landlord cannot pay for the window and then sue the culprit (if known) through the courts?
Amen0 -
because a 16 y ear old scroat who breaks windows wont have any money to be sued for, and the LL will be even MORE out of pocket after paying court fees ..... and LL cant claim on insurance as the cost will be less than the excess anyway.... landlord stuffed......0
