As far as i know everything is still there - he is skint, hence why he wont let me have it back as he cant afford to replace it! value wise, everything i want back is worth around £600. it just seems like since his new gf moved in he's changed his mind and wont let me have anything back

When and if the police arrive she can wave her receipts at them.
I'd definitely do it. Check his Facebook account for when he's away for the weekend. Christmas Day or Boxing Day would be my choice.0 -
well...as for christening things....im chucking the mattress out tbf and the bed will go on ebay...! i dont really want it after their activities on it! hes not on facebook and he will be in for christmas...i know his shift pattern and when his gf is at work but i might just turn up with the police again and catch them both in their pants again. i caught them out last time by arranging a time with him, he then went back on it as he was going out...so i just turned up an hour earlier

Receipts don't allow you to enter someone's home without their permission.0 -

Have you asked them if they'll buy it off you?
I'd tell them their options were to hand over the furniture, hand over £600 for it, or wait and see what the police/magistrates say about the matter.0 -

Ew. Are you absolutely sure you want that mattress back?
Still, it would give me immense pleasure to imagine his face when he returns home to find no bed and no wardrobe there. With his clothes all chucked on the floor.0 -

What if he is one step ahead and poured paint or something all over the furniture then the OP comes to collect them ?
Perhaps the OP should cut her losses and just get a replacement set in the sales. I think DFS is having a sale

ive already told him he can have the furniture for £300 as it will cost him a heck of a lot more than that to replace. No,i dont really want the mattress back, but i know of a charity shop that sells furniture who will no doubt be glad of a mattress worth £150! I still have the look on his face when i turned up with a policeman last time, priceless
my dughter has just told me that my ex still has all my furniture still.
